Reception staff are the best i have seen in a long time. Room is clean and the whole hotel is well put together.

The room was very comfortable and the bed as well. We love the decor there. There is an excellent restaurant on-site and the bar is lovely. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Good: Loved the location and overall atmosphere. Felt very on trend, but also luxurious and relaxing. Bad: There were some fees I was not aware of when I booked, but most hotels have extra fees when you arrive so not a big deal.

Good: Perfect location. Wonderfully decorated for the season. Perfect spot for a snowy night. Bad: Some of the staff werent very friendly.

Good: Very cozy suites. Love the retro decor. No street noises even on the 1st floor. Bad: Bed is a bit soft. Not enough hangers.

What made me feel important is the evening I arrived the manager John went out of his way to accommodate me. Beautiful Darcy from housekeeping brought me more than what I needed when I said I was cold. She didn’t have to go out of her way to make two trips but she did!!

The staff were 5 Star, so helpful and friendly. They truly went above and beyond. The room was great and included a sitting area, nice decor, - super comfortable. Happy hour in the bar was great.

A Hyatt masquerading as a boutique hotel but they've done an excellent job. Cool comfy rooms, and one of the best hotel breakfasts around (and reasonably priced).

I’m always drawn to unique hotel properties that truly go the extra mile, and The Anndore House is exactly that. It’s full of boutique charm, beautifully curated decor, and genuine comfort. The high-quality linens, Smeg kettle for tea, in-room fridge, cozy robes, slippers, and even a proper full-length mirror all made the stay feel thoughtfully designed. The location couldn’t be better—steps from the subway, surrounded by great restaurants for every budget, and right in the middle of Toronto’s best shopping. Heating was quiet and efficient, and the room felt surprisingly spacious, even with a king bed, with plenty of storage. If I had to offer any suggestions, it would be to add a few more hangers and perhaps ensure a warmer welcome from one of the front desk staff. Also, my order from the onsite Constantine Restaurant (the chicken with couscous) was a bit underwhelming—but with so many great dining options just moments away, it’s hardly an issue. Overall, this hotel is a gem. It’s officially my new favourite place to stay in Toronto, and I’ll absolutely be returning.

Good: The bar served amazing drinks. The rooms were great. Bad: The free breakfast would have been good but they don't serve until 930am on weekends. Only brunch. Did not have time to partake. Wish we would have known first

The hotel was very comfortable and very clean. It was in a perfect location for exploring Downtown Toronto and within walking distance (20-30 mins) of all main attractions and tourist sites.

Everything was great, clean, comfortable, stylish, welcoming, location. Only negative would be the spacing at the bottom of the door was maybe 2" and with the room being close to the elevator we could hear people clearly and even see shoes passing. The coffee shop coffee needs better brand or make it stronger

This is a really great hotel! The rooms have a very downtown loft vibe to them and had everything we needed for our stay. They let us check in early when we requested and they were very accommodating for our dog. They even offered us food and water dishes for him. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful! The only downfall was that there is what seemed to be a shelter 2 doors down from the hotel. That being said, it was in a pretty central area (very close to Bloor and Yonge) and there was lots of foot trafic so it felt safe.

I've stayed here many times over the last 3 1/2 years. One of the most fun hotels I've stayed at. The staff are great, especially Corey at the door. The bar and restaurant are really good, and they make a killer Old Fashioned. The record players in the rooms are a nice touch. The hotel is located near a lot of wonderful shopping and venues. Unfortunately, at times, there are those struggling with homelessness and it's related issues outside, but that has improved lately. I've never had a negative encounter with any of them, though, and it is quite safe. The valet parking has EV chargers, as does the Toronto Parking Authority parking garage across the street.

This was a good visit. The room was clean and the staff were really nice. However, there was a few slight problems that were not any fault of the hotel, so I'm not going to mention them. Great boutique hotel, great location right off Yonge Street. The restaurant looked cool and the business area and coffee area looked impressive, but we didn't have a change to use them.

We stayed at the Anndore House for my daughter's birthday. The staff were so friendly and the hotel was very clean. We also loved the location and had no issues getting around while we were there. We spent a lot of time walking around the area and found so many hidden gems in the area. The cocktails at the bar downstairs are delcious.

Belle surprise ce petit hôtel au centre-ville! J’ai adoré mon séjour: chambre spacieuse, lit confo, une des nombreuses fenêtres peut s’ouvrir pour laisser entrer de l’air frais (je suis un peu claustrophobe!), le Constantine, nourriture excellente, j’ai mangé les Grilled Shrimps 3 jours d’affilée, trop bon! Un sans faute, bravo à l’équipe

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. My mom and I were in Toronto in October for a girls weekend and we really enjoyed our stay, due in big part to Rudra. We were fortunate enough to have her serve us in the restaurant, Constantine (food was incredible), and she was so pleasant and conversational. She assisted us in selecting dishes, and also offered suggestions on things to see and do while in Toronto. Thank you so much Rudra and The Anndore House for making our stay such a great one!

Good: Great location, iconic, everything Bad: One thing. They only gave us one set of towels. I wanted a shower very late at night/early morning. Didn’t want to wake my spouse that late by calling housekeeping or leaving the room, so I had to use the towel she had used earlier. I didn’t notice earlier that there was only one towel.

Good: Very convenient to everything including the subway. It had more space than most double queen rooms with a nice sitting area which was great when travelling with a kid. Bad: Nothing

Good: The room had lots of space and character. Bad: The room temperature was cool even after turning up the temperature on thermostat.

Great location near Bloor Street. Room was spacious and Skoah products were a great touch. However the bathroom could do with an extra shelf for wash bags/makeup storage . Noise- Because it was a tiled floor there was a bit more noise from other rooms . Garbage trucks were incredibly loud in the early morning. Overall it was a good hotel especially for a weekend stay and good value for money

The lights actually turned off 3 times while I was showering (the light switch was outside of the bathroom too), but that only happened one morning and not for the enirety of my stay so I guess I'll let it slide. Besides that, everything about the hotel and my stay was excellent.

A really great hotel. Room was clean, comfortable and stylish. No problems with noise etc. We always had pleasent interactions with the staff. Only issue is that the hotel is right next to a homeless shelter/ camp. Sometimes walking outside of the hotel felt a bit uncomfortable. We tried to get a late night snack from McDonald's and quickly realised that was a bad idea. However we had no issues, I think they keep themselves to themselves and did not bother us. We never got approached etc. I wouldn't feel comfortable as a lone female walking around but it was fine with my partner. The hotel is opposite a carpark and is a short walk from the metro station making it convenient for getting around. Thanks for our stay!

Awesome location. 2 minutes away from the subway. A few minutes away from many food places. Spacious and clean room. The building was renovated a few years ago. Feels new. Very nice staff. The only downside I had was the missing microwave. I would really suggest the hotel to include a microwave in the room.

Good overall location for walking. Clean Room, good vibe in the hotel. Nice Staff. Homeless camp right outside the building. I would not use this for a couples stay or if you have kids - Fire and Police make 3 to 5 visits a day to deal with the homeless situation. , Good for business needs, very fair price - Next stay I'll try a different location due to the homeless tent camp which unfortunately is nothing the hotel can do about.

Exceptional attention to detail. The front desk staff and cleaning staff were amazing but what really stands out is that attention to detail--everything was just where you would expect it to be but without having to think about it. I only wish I could stay longer. Beautiful, calm, distinctive, yet gezelig. Thank you.
