Great, independent (boutique) type hotel. Our room was generously sized for 2 adults and 2 children, considering the great neighborhood (Bloor-Yonge stop of Yorkeville). The property is on an unassuming block, but it is quiet, and parking across the street was easy. So many great food places!

Amazing stay at the Anndore House! All staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Easy checkin, GREAT rooms (SO clean, well designed, and amazingly comfortable beds). Great location. Will definitely be back. Neat welcome message on the TV in your room from the general manager that adds a personal touch. Hotel Highlights: Luxury Quiet

We loved our stay at Anndore house. Beautiful rooms (ours was a family room with 2 double beds), with very quirky decoration. Staff all fabulous. From the outside we were worried when we first arrived as it looked a little run down, but as soon as you walk through the entrance doors, it is a brilliant hotel that is very well maintained and opulent decoration. Location wise, perfect for us, as quieter than a central location and it was about a 30 minute walk to the main areas within Downtown. Hotel Highlights: Luxury Quiet Kid-friendly Great value High-tech

Really liked this place. We stay in a lot of hotels and the room here was unique and awesome. Large space with a cool desk/storage set up. Bathroom was good sized, but could use some shelf. Didn't love the breakfast buffet (though the restaurant is really good outside of breakfast). Location is okay. It was snowing when we were there so didn't get out a ton to explore. Very local, neighborhoody, which is cool. But not a lot of "nice" stuff nearby. I would stay again though. Hotel Highlights: Quiet

The Anndore House is a great hotel if you are a couple or single coming on a work trip. With trendy rooms and designs it isn't like a regular hotel. That being said, it is very hard to find with very little signage, and not a very kid friendly hotel. All in all though we had a great trip! Hotel Highlights: Luxury

Stayed here for 3 nights recently and was somewhat impressed. It’s kinda far from the nicer Church Wellesley and can get a bit sketchy at night. Prices are ok. Be prepared to be up charged on items and make sure you’re comfortable asking how much it is (like valet, and continental breakfast) and you’ll have a lovely time. The rooms are smaller but thoughtfully curated. The bldg next door has a fire alarm go off for about half an hour at 3 am so take advantage of the ear plugs. Rooms: Medium sized but so thoughtfully curated and decorated! Nearby activities: Church Wellesley bars fun! Safety: The hotel itself is safe. Just steer clear of the church next door. I was accosted by a homeless person one day and it was quite scary. But once you’re in the hotel doors, you’re well cared for. Walkability: I can walk to most fun things in Church Wellesley within 10 minutes but there is a church that services drug addicts and homeless people next door who did accost me one night. Food & drinks: Constantine is lovely, and the drinks are good. Get the chicken liver mousse! Hotel Highlights: Romantic Great value

What a wonderful experience! The staff was amazing. From the moment we got to the hotel, check in, service at the restaurant, housekeeping, checkout. Close to metro, street cars, restaurants. Also university of Toronto, museum. When we return to Toronto, we will stay here again.

The hotel itself is nice, although very small. The style is Moody, dark walls, with nice art, deco, decor. However, the lobby is very small and the hotel itself is very small. The restaurant Constantine inside the hotel is not very good at all. We had brunch, and it was overpriced with lack of flavor, and overall, not well-made dishes. We arrived early and was told that somebody would call us if we could check in early. However, nobody called us 40 minutes prior to 3 o’clock, I went up to ask if the room was ready, and the lady gave us a room. It is valet parking only without the option of parking yourself. The surrounding area was undergoing construction. The location is sketchy. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and a drugstore across the street where you can get snacks and drinks, but there are some homeless people and mentally ill people around the neighborhood who well out of nowhere scream. There are rundown homes and abandoned homes nearby. Very dense population with many people on the street walking and biking. The valet people were very nice. The front desk is hit and miss. There is a coffee shop in the vicinity and a barbershop which we did not use. The buffet breakfast was terrible and very limited. The eggs they used appeared to be of powder, and the sausage was terrible. We were informed that the following week they were going to do à la cart and order order for breakfast throughout the week, but we were not there for that unfortunately. Workers very nice.

Disappointed that there wasn’t a vanity mirror, thought there would be. Safe in my room was too small for an iPad, daughter’s was larger. Beds comfortable and shower excellent. Like that shower and toilet and closet with sink are separate. Thermostat responsive and blinds fully block out light. They should have done a better job with our noise complaints. We had two rooms and we both were disturbed. It took at least 5 calls to have an impact. Oddly it was suggested that I might want to change rooms when it was 11:00 p.m.

We loved staying at the Anndore. It was our home away from home for 6 days. We walked around and tried by many different outstanding restaurants near by. The room was nice and cleaned daily. The staff, especially the doorman was so very kind. Would definately recommend.

The location is good, and the aesthetics of the hotel common areas are quite nice. Housekeeping was attentive and things were generally good. However, the rooms are a bit unfinished-looking, a lot of the furniture is essentially made of plywood, lots of exposed piping and stuff. The breakfast is really bare bones for a Hyatt - surprising to me because it’s hosted in a pretty nice restaurant.

Lovely hotel. Well designed rooms with a great industrial esthetic. Enjoyed the vinyl record player in the room. One thing to keep in mind is food & beverage offerings are somewhat limited. The bar closed at 10pm despite having 15+ customers and the breakfast buffet was very basic (only two hot items). Rooms: Well design & functional.

I recently stayed at the Anndore House following a challenging night at Sick Kids Hospital. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Despite our late-night arrival, they went above and beyond to assist me with parking my oversized vehicle and graciously offered a late check-out, which was immensely appreciated. As always, our room was comfortable and our rate was fair. Many thanks again for the kindness -- it did not go unnoticed.

I recently stayed at The Anndore House Hotel in Toronto and was thoroughly impressed! The decor exudes a unique charm that sets this place apart. Having a record player in the room added a delightful vintage touch to my stay. Its location couldn't be more convenient, making it easy to explore the city. I highly recommend The Anndore House to anyone visiting Toronto for a memorable and stylish stay.

This is a 5 star across the board for me. The room was large, super cool, great for working and relaxing, great location, never had to wait while drinking, eating, checking in or checking out. I was surprised as I did not expect it to be as hip and cool and modern - and everyone was so nice - and the price was great. I would highly recommend, and when I am back, I will book here and not consider other hotels. It felt like a cool boutique hotel - I loved it!
