Overall great stay! Only complaint would be the bedding was very hot! Our room had the AC blasting and the bedding just doesn’t breathe much. Our Housekeeper was fantastic and the valet attendants are very friendly and make you feel a bit safer when on your own outside as there are quiet a few homeless people in the area

Staying 7 days, the room is so cute and clean and our housekeeper is so friendly. Love the hotel, great location for walking around Toronto but in an area that has lots of homes less living on the streets (you feel very safe in the hotel)

I travel a lot for work. I would recommend this place for a short stay. However a long stay (I was here fof 5 days) would look elsewhere next time. It was convenient for TCAF but the beds made us sore and pillows were subpar. I am used to hyatt beds and pillows and this is hyatt only in the name. Beds were tough and didn't get enough sleep for a week. Also there is contruction everywhere. Next door and across the street, lpud mornings. Additionally the property itself is built in a way that you hear everything on your floor. I heard the conversations next door and baby across the way. Again fine for a night or two but not more.

Good: Nicely appointed rooms with comfortable beds. Spacious bathroom with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, and a cabinet for storage. Location was excellent, close to subway, shopping, and several points of interest. Staff were professional and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here. Bad: Improve entertainment choices, particularly television and movie channels, and allow for screen mirroring with Apple devices.

This place was an amazing discovery! If John Wick was looking for his Continental in Downtown Toronto, this is it! Super cool rooms, amazing staff, a cool bar complete with beautiful people with a tattooed edge in black, food amazing! The rate doesn’t make sense (affordable) but I’ll take it! Recommend

Great, independent (boutique) type hotel. Our room was generously sized for 2 adults and 2 children, considering the great neighborhood (Bloor-Yonge stop of Yorkeville). The property is on an unassuming block, but it is quiet, and parking across the street was easy. So many great food places!

Amazing stay at the Anndore House! All staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Easy checkin, GREAT rooms (SO clean, well designed, and amazingly comfortable beds). Great location. Will definitely be back. Neat welcome message on the TV in your room from the general manager that adds a personal touch. Hotel Highlights: Luxury Quiet

We loved our stay at Anndore house. Beautiful rooms (ours was a family room with 2 double beds), with very quirky decoration. Staff all fabulous. From the outside we were worried when we first arrived as it looked a little run down, but as soon as you walk through the entrance doors, it is a brilliant hotel that is very well maintained and opulent decoration. Location wise, perfect for us, as quieter than a central location and it was about a 30 minute walk to the main areas within Downtown. Hotel Highlights: Luxury Quiet Kid-friendly Great value High-tech

Really liked this place. We stay in a lot of hotels and the room here was unique and awesome. Large space with a cool desk/storage set up. Bathroom was good sized, but could use some shelf. Didn't love the breakfast buffet (though the restaurant is really good outside of breakfast). Location is okay. It was snowing when we were there so didn't get out a ton to explore. Very local, neighborhoody, which is cool. But not a lot of "nice" stuff nearby. I would stay again though. Hotel Highlights: Quiet

The Anndore House is a great hotel if you are a couple or single coming on a work trip. With trendy rooms and designs it isn't like a regular hotel. That being said, it is very hard to find with very little signage, and not a very kid friendly hotel. All in all though we had a great trip! Hotel Highlights: Luxury

Stayed here for 3 nights recently and was somewhat impressed. It’s kinda far from the nicer Church Wellesley and can get a bit sketchy at night. Prices are ok. Be prepared to be up charged on items and make sure you’re comfortable asking how much it is (like valet, and continental breakfast) and you’ll have a lovely time. The rooms are smaller but thoughtfully curated. The bldg next door has a fire alarm go off for about half an hour at 3 am so take advantage of the ear plugs. Rooms: Medium sized but so thoughtfully curated and decorated! Nearby activities: Church Wellesley bars fun! Safety: The hotel itself is safe. Just steer clear of the church next door. I was accosted by a homeless person one day and it was quite scary. But once you’re in the hotel doors, you’re well cared for. Walkability: I can walk to most fun things in Church Wellesley within 10 minutes but there is a church that services drug addicts and homeless people next door who did accost me one night. Food & drinks: Constantine is lovely, and the drinks are good. Get the chicken liver mousse! Hotel Highlights: Romantic Great value

The hotel itself is nice, although very small. The style is Moody, dark walls, with nice art, deco, decor. However, the lobby is very small and the hotel itself is very small. The restaurant Constantine inside the hotel is not very good at all. We had brunch, and it was overpriced with lack of flavor, and overall, not well-made dishes. We arrived early and was told that somebody would call us if we could check in early. However, nobody called us 40 minutes prior to 3 o’clock, I went up to ask if the room was ready, and the lady gave us a room. It is valet parking only without the option of parking yourself. The surrounding area was undergoing construction. The location is sketchy. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and a drugstore across the street where you can get snacks and drinks, but there are some homeless people and mentally ill people around the neighborhood who well out of nowhere scream. There are rundown homes and abandoned homes nearby. Very dense population with many people on the street walking and biking. The valet people were very nice. The front desk is hit and miss. There is a coffee shop in the vicinity and a barbershop which we did not use. The buffet breakfast was terrible and very limited. The eggs they used appeared to be of powder, and the sausage was terrible. We were informed that the following week they were going to do à la cart and order order for breakfast throughout the week, but we were not there for that unfortunately. Workers very nice.

Disappointed that there wasn’t a vanity mirror, thought there would be. Safe in my room was too small for an iPad, daughter’s was larger. Beds comfortable and shower excellent. Like that shower and toilet and closet with sink are separate. Thermostat responsive and blinds fully block out light. They should have done a better job with our noise complaints. We had two rooms and we both were disturbed. It took at least 5 calls to have an impact. Oddly it was suggested that I might want to change rooms when it was 11:00 p.m.

We booked this hotel for seeing a play at the Mirvish Theatre around the corner on Younge and it was so convenient! The space was modern and clean and the staff were very efficient. It was close to two subway stops and had lots of good dining options nearby.
