Good: The quirkiness of the rooms, tastefully done, feeling high end industrial but not super expensive furnishings or surfaces. The products in the room are great, best hand wash ever (even bought some to take away). Free large bottles of filtered water in the room, one even in the fridge, all filled in house. Staff that greet you with a hello, front desk and housekeeing. A reasonably priced undercover garage across the street Bad: over the years the price has increased, but I am just cheap, all hotels have become expensive, but I still stay here.

Recently stayed at Anndore House for a business trip. The hotel is well located with lots of shops and restaurants close by. It has easy access to public transport as well. The hotel itself feels very much boutique hotel with a small lobby but a nice bar and restaurant. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms are well appointed and clean, beds are comfortable. Some lower floor rooms are close to the HVAC unit and it could be noisy. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and would not hesitate to book again.

A lovely property, great staff, and stylish rooms with character. The only reason the rooms get a 4* rating is due to the pillows. They're probably ok if you're a flat sleeper, but side-sleepers like myself definitely have an issue with them being too soft, and there is not an available alternative. (My own experience, as well as overheard in the restaurant and lobby from multiple other guests)

The plywood furniture in the room is interesting and matches the decor concept, but unfortunately is looking very worn and takes away from the overall feel of the place.

Bright, well-appointed rooms with big windows, excellent beds, and comfortable chairs in the two-queen room. Loved that there were great in-room tea options (an Earl Grey and a lemon rooibos from Distinctly Tea). Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful - thank you for the save with the dental kit when I forgot my toothbrush! The hotel is steps from Yonge St, with many tasty restaurants nearby (thus, a little puzzling to have Earl's recommended as a dinner option, but I *was* traveling with my older father.)

We had another fantastic stay at The Anndore House! The location is awesome—perfect for exploring Toronto and close to everything we want to do. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and a great place to come back to after a busy day in the city. The beds are especially comfortable, and the whole hotel has a cool boutique feel with so much more personality than your typical hotel. The staff, though, are what really make The Anndore House special. They are genuinely some of the best hotel staff we’ve encountered anywhere—friendly, welcoming, helpful, and always making us feel incredibly well looked after. A very special shout-out to Anthony, the Operations Manager of the bar/restaurant, who is honestly part of the reason we keep coming back. He always makes us feel so welcome and adds that personal touch that turns a great hotel stay into one you actually remember. It’s wonderful returning somewhere and seeing a familiar face who makes you feel right at home. Great location, comfortable rooms, tons of character, and exceptional people. The Anndore House has become our Toronto hotel, and Anthony and the amazing team are a huge reason why. We’ll absolutely be back!

We really love this Boutique hotel! Well maintained, trendy and excellent location! The hotel is really close to the Gay village , Eaton Mall , Bloor Street, Old Toronto… Younge Street is around the corner and would take you straight up or down to any amazing place

Schönes Hotel in Toronto - Es war das Abschlusshotel unserer Kanadareise und es war ein guter Abschluss. Wir hatten einzig das Problem, dass es von außen nicht so sehr erkenntlich war, wo genau der Eingang ist. Das war im dichten Verkehr eher schwierig. Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön. Alles sauber. Die Betten bequem. Da vor dem Hotel renoviert wird und es dadurch zu Lärm kommen kann, liegen Ohrstöpsel bereit. Leider war der Bereich um die Rezeption sehr unordentlich. Das in Kombination mit der Erkennbarkeit und der Tatsache, dass das Parkhaus gegenüber günstiger ist, als das Hotelparken gibt den einen Stern Abzug.

This has to be the absolute cleanest and friendliest hotels I have ever stayed at. This is not your average place. It price is its price because of unique style, vibe and over aura you get when staying here. This is perfect for a hot romantic anniversary or Birthday. I wouldn’t say this is a place for kids running and for someone who has kids that’s okay. I know mine would be loud and ruin the experience. The bar and restaurant is something you see in a luxury movie scene. And the service is so exceptional you feel like you’re a celebrity. The rooms are like no other and I’m comparing to other boutique when I say this, not large chain hotels. THE BATHROOM is amazing! The details in the cards they leave, the balloons and birthday cake! All amazing ! Places like this stay open and keep people coming back because they are CLEAN inside and out.

Perfect location. Close to everything - food, shopping and attractions. Clean spacious rooms. We forgot our HDMI cable and they have a list of items you can borrow from the front desk if you forgot to bring. They’ll only charge you if you keep them. Would definitely recommend

The Anndore House is such a hidden gem! I absolutely loved my stay—the room, the food, the coffee shop, and the fitness center, which is just a 3-minute walk away in this amazing building packed with shops and restaurants. But what really stood out was the wonderful attention from the staff! I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Good: Anndore House is within two blocks of the underground, close to Bloor St and easy access to downtown. We loved the decor and the staff were thoroughly lovely. We ate at the restaurant and had a beautiful meal. We had cocktails at the bar. Very chill vibe and just what we wanted! We stayed 5 nights and we were impressed with the housekeeping team. Not one hiccup! Bad: Initially the Hotel was hard to approach with a vehicle as it’s a one way street with not much space in front but once you know this you can sort it out. I didn’t really like the gluelam look of the cabinets in our room but they were functional. They didn’t really go with the rest of the room. A small thing I know. The circle mirror in our bath room was mounted on a nasty piece of wood that had previously been square. 😕

The room is pretty nice. Everything good within the hotel and there’s a paid parking lot across from the street. The only thing is there are lots of homeless people right by the hotel (seems like there’s a gathering place for them) - wanted to point it out in case it matters to people.

Good: The property was very modern and had everything within one space - ie hotel, bar, restaurant, coffee shop and the location was great as it was close to local amenities like drug stories and many restaurants and bakeries and close to a station Bad: The property was located right next to a homeless shelter, which wasn’t bad during the day time but at night time I wouldn’t recommend walking past it

It’s a very attractive and inviting hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated, the lobby and bar are comfortable and friendly. The staff were excellent. We had a great stay and the valet parking was definitely worth the price.

Good: The location is great. It is close to the office I wanted to go to, and everything else is nearby. Bad: I thought $500 CAD could have bought much more; apparently, I was wrong. As my flight arrived late at night, I checked in almost at midnight. Since I had a meeting at 9:30 am the next morning, I hoped to get back to my room for some rest afterward. I needed it after taking a 20-hour long-haul flight, so I asked the hotel if I could have a late check-out. The answer was a cold "late check-out fee is $30 per half hour." Really?! After the TV remote didn't work and I complained about almost everything in the room, this was what I got?! No, this is not how a hospitality business should be. Especially when I have travelled so much. Anyways, I would say this facility does not meet Hyatt standards.
