Festive Lights & Holiday Magic

On November 22, the charming Village of Yorkville Park (at Cumberland & Bellair) will come to life with the annual “Flick the Switch” lighting ceremony, hosted by the Bloor-Yorkville BIA. This free, family-friendly evening runs from 5 PM to 7 PM and features a live performance by Shawn Hook and special guest STORRY, with the whole neighbourhood lighting up in a dazzling display of holiday cheer.
But the magic doesn’t end there — the lights along Bloor Street West, from Avenue Road to Church Street, stay lit throughout the season, bathing the streets in a festive glow until December 31.
Carolers, Victorian Style

Starting December 5, Victorian-era carollers (yes, really) will stroll through the neighbourhood, bringing classic yuletide songs to life. These traditional quartets sing throughout the month — typically on weekends and select weekdays — weaving music and nostalgia as you wander the lit-up streets.
A Blooming Holiday: Fleurs de Villes NOËL

From December 3–7, Bloor-Yorkville transforms into a floral wonderland with the Fleurs de Villes NOËL trail. Over 25 floral installations — including the iconic floral mannequins — will pop up across the neighbourhood, crafted by Toronto’s most talented florists. Along the way, enjoy carolers, sip festive floral cocktails, and even shop at a seasonal flower market.
This walkable, self-guided floral trail runs daily from 10 AM, making it the perfect daytime activity to soak in the creativity and charm.
